An analysis of OHCHR’s media performance

Students in the Human Rights and Data Science Master’s program at The American University of Paris (AUP) completed a capstone project in collaboration with the Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights (OHCHR) where they analyzed the performance of OHCHR’s messages on Tweeter and X over several years. The objective was to leverage advanced analytics to optimize the OHCHR’s global human rights messaging.

The project was defined and supervised by OHCHR’s Jessica Summers, Luzal Vaidya, Frédéric Alizon. AUP’s students Freya Morel-Seytoux, Israel Alejandro Fregoso, and William Sousa were supervised by Professors Marco Pascucci and Claudia Roda. Engaging with such a relevant and meaningful challenge, supported by the insights of the OHCHR’s team, was a truly inspiring learning experience.
